Founded in 1994, Bowers Kidseum, both an interactive children's museum and learning center, serves as an extension of the main Bowers Museum, offering multi-faceted art and cultural experiences for young children, their families and the community. Primarily dedicated to the pre-school and early elementary age, Kidseum's central focus is providing a 'hands-on' experience in keeping with the museum's mission to 'promote education and understanding by bringing the world's great cultural art to people of all ages'. The Kidseum offers many great fun activities for kids like Face painting; the kidseum renowned artist will decorate your child’s face and arms with designs from all over the world for free. This activity is available on Saturday and Sundays one of the many things this museum has to offer for the family. Also check out these fun activities the museum offers.
