This is a family farm that offers a wide range of services to the general public in an open and friendly atmosphere. We promote not only a healthy connection and respect for not only animals, but for our fellow human being as well.

The ranch is  in Jamul, CA that offers many different services and opportunities in one location to home school programs, charter schools, girls scouts, boy scouts, preschools, public schools and the general public.

We will customize your field trip to fit your groups needs!

Learn how to milk a cow or goat, feedand hold chickens, ducks, emus, pigs, bee keeping, why llamas guard the farm, learn about, compost,, vist a real working farm!.

Get ready for a humorous, intimate, hour with camels!  See our facilities and pastures where the camels live and then take a seat in a comfortable chair while the tour comes to you!  Several of our wonderful camels will come up close to meet you, there are many opportunities for touching the animals or even rides
 
camel rides offered during public tours are the county fair, around in a big circle, hand led kind of ride.

Our spoiled camels have a 200 lb. weight limit.

It's a family farm. An unusual family; Gil, Nancy, a small handful of very dedicated animal caretakers and a huge family of camels, birds and other farm animals call the Oasis Camel Dairy home.

Located on thirty-four rolling acres, this unique "farmily" supports the efforts of furthering the education of the public world wide about the amazing nature of camels and their milk.

You could travel the four corners of the Earth and never find a destination quite like the Oasis Camel Dairy. Gil and Nancy Riegler, owners and caretakers of these benevolent animals have, over the past twenty years, devoted themselves to developing and operating America's first camel dairy.


Camel mothers need their calves beside them in order to give milk. the Oasis Camel Dairy is truly unique as mothers, calves and handlers work together to collect the milk.
